This privacy policy applies to the myjobb app (referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices, created by Brooklyn Computer Systems Inc. (referred to as “BCS”) as a commercial service. The Application is intended for use by companies to assist in monitoring employees performing services such as inspections healthcare home visits, delivery etc. The company (referred to as “Your Employer”) is a client of BCS. 

The Application communicates with Your Employer’s server to exchange data. Only registered employees of Your Employer, authorized by company administrators, are permitted to use this app. 

The company administrators must first register you in their server using your employment data before you can use the application. 

This service is provided “AS IS.” 

Information Collection and Use 

The Application collects certain information when downloaded and used, including:

  • Device IP Address: To help secure access and verify device usage. 
  • Application Usage Duration: To analyze and improve application functionality. 
  • Mobile Device Operating System: To ensure compatibility and support for different devices. 
  • Location Data: Collected for features like geolocation verification and to assist Your Employer in determining your approximate geographical position. 

The Application may use location data for: 

  • Geolocation Services: To verify your position, determine site patrol inspections checkpoints that you visited, where you are, when you checked in and checked out at your job site, and enable other location-based services. 
  • Analytics and Improvements: Aggregated and anonymized location data helps Your Employer analyze user behavior, identify trends, and improve Application performance. 

Contact Information: Your Employer may also use your contact information to communicate important updates, required notices, and other employment-related matters. 

Your Employer may already possess certain personally identifiable information by virtue of your employment, including but not limited to user ID, name, address, email address, and phone number. This information is retained and used as described in this privacy policy. 

Third-Party Access 

Your Employer may share your information with third parties as outlined in your employment contract and as described in this policy. Third-party service providers may only use information provided to them in accordance with this privacy statement, adhering to strict confidentiality obligations. 

The Application uses third-party services with their own privacy policies regarding data handling. Links to their privacy policies include: 

  • Google Play Services 

Information Disclosure: Your Employer may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information: 

  • As required by law, such as to comply with subpoenas or similar legal processes 
  • When they believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, ensure safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests 
  • With trusted service providers working on their behalf, who do not have independent use of the disclosed information and adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement 

Opt-Out Rights 

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application through the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device. Note that refusing to use the Application or uninstalling the Application may affect your employment responsibilities. If this is the case, please notify Your Employer. 

Data Retention Policy 

Your Employer will retain data you provide while using the Application for as long as required by your employment contract and applicable laws. If you would like Your Employer to delete data provided via the Application, please contact them directly. They will respond within a reasonable time frame, or as outlined in your employment contract. 

Account Deletion

Since only your company administration staff can create or delete accounts, you must contact your employer using the contact information provided as part of your employment agreement and request that your account be deleted. If all attempts to contact your employer fails, users can reach out to BCS at sales@bcsint.com, and we will forward their request to your employer.

Children 

This Application is solely for use by employees of various companies and is inaccessible to the public without a company, including children under 13 years of age. 

Security 

Your Employer is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. They have implemented physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including access controls, to protect the data they process and maintain. 

Changes to This Policy 

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the Application or applicable law. Your Employer will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the revised policy. Continued use of the Application signifies acceptance of any changes, so please review this policy regularly.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy, including any future amendments.
