Description

The BCS Security Incident Wallet is designed to record incidents without a keyboard during inspection patrols.

The wallet contains a paper list of incident codes and their descriptions (e.g. 256 – Door Open) and 14 iButtons tags labeled:

  • Digits 0 to 9
  • Start Incident
  • Start Patrol
  • Clear
  • Enter

Using the iButton Tag Reader, you can scan the iButton Tags to record an incident. For example, to record the incident “ 256 – Door Open”, you must scan Digits 2, 5 and 6 and then “enter.” The sequence of scans is recorded in the iButton Tag Reader and can be uploaded to the BCS Patrol Monitoring Software for decoding and processing.
