Description
BCS offers a variety of tags of different sizes, mounting options, configurations, formats, styles, and environmental damage resistant and read technologies.
As part of the patrol monitoring system, BCS Media Tags can be used as:
- Checkpoint Tags to record the Tag ID, as well as the time and date when tags were read.
- Incident Tags to Record an incident associated with a checkpoint (e.g. an open door)
- Employee Tags to Identify and record an employee associated with an activity (e.g. Inspection Patrol, Check in/Out)
BCS Media Tags uses the following technologies:

- Electronic chips contained in a small button-shaped stainless steel casing
- Water- and shock-resistant casing.
- Non-powered
- Each touch memory button has a unique serial number
- Can be mounted on the walls and items

RFID Media Tags
The “HiTag 125 kHz” and “Unique World Tag 125 kHz” media tags are housed in water- and shock-resistant black epoxy. Each tag has a unique serial number, and the tags require no external power. They can be mounted on the walls and items (assets) to be monitored, and can be concealed behind non-metallic surfaces such as concrete, drywall, plastic, wood, etc.

NFC Media Tag
NFC tags are a subset of RFID tags (operating at 13.56 MHz.) They are tiny chips (integrated circuits) connected to an antenna.

QR Code Media Tag
QR Code Tags are a printable type of barcode tag. They can be printed in various sizes on paper and mounted to many surfaces.
QR Code Tags Key Features
- Small and unobtrusive
- Print your own QR Code tag (no need to buy)
- Inexpensive
- Easy to install
- Not as durable
- Easily duplicated
- The most common readers are mobile phones (dedicated readers are also available). The QR Code is read using the camera of the mobile phone.
